Choose your hardwood flooring's personality.
You can influence the character of your floor by choosing the type of wood (from the left), one of the following 5 types of plank, and then even further by choosing the cut of wood to give the finished style.

Karelia 3-strip hardwood-flooring

The top surface of a 3-strip plank hardwood flooring consists of three parallel laminae with lengths varying between 200mm and 500mm.

Karelia 2-strip hardwood-flooring

The top surface of a 2-strip plank hardwood flooring consists of two parallel solid wood laminae with lengths varying between 700 - 1400mm.

Karelia Full Plank

In Full Plank hardwood flooring an unbroken wooden surface covers the lengths and width of the board.

Karelia Story

On the top layer of the lardwood plank, a bevel is machined so that after laying, a V-shaped groove approximately 3mm wide is left between the boards.

Karelia Saima

Saima parquet consists of several different kinds of design pattern alternatives. Combining different woods is also possible.

Select

Select products are made from selected heartwoods. The floor's overall hue is even and knot free. The grain patterns delineating the floors surface are generally the densest, straightest and lightest in tone.

Natur

Natur products are made from core timber. Often the wood's grain patterns are clearly visible. The wood's varied colouring makes the floor lively and interesting.

Rustikal

Rustikal products are manufactured from selected stemwood and sapwood whose knots impart a liveliness to the floor. The colouring is variable. Many believe that Rustikal in particular represents wood flooring at its most genuine.

Polar

Polar products are made from heartwood and sapwood. The wood's lively grain patterns impart a distinctive character to the floor and the strip pattern characteristic of hardwood flooring is more clearly accentuated.

The top layer of the selected wood, or the wearing surface, is always approximately 4mm thick in hardwood flooring boards whose thicknesses are 14 and 22mm. The top layer is lacquered with UV-hardened acrylic lacquer to withstand rough wear.

Slowly grown Nordic coniferous spruce is used in the manufacture of the middle and bottom layers; cross glued construction minimises the woods movement.

Only Karelia wood flooring has a unique edge protection, in which the joint's surfaces are finished and protected against impurities and moisture.
